In Phoenix, having good air circulation in your attic is a big deal because it gets so darn hot! If your attic can’t breathe, all that heat just hangs out up there, making your AC work way harder. That’s bad news for your comfort and your wallet.
The Upsides of Decent Attic Air Circulation
Making sure your attic’s air flows well in Phoenix is a good idea. It helps keep your house cooler, which is always a plus. It also helps protect your roof from getting too hot or damp. Even in Phoenix, attics can get a bit damp at night, which can mess with your insulation. So, good air flow helps keep the heat and dampness under control, which can make your roof last longer.
Save on Energy and Cash
A lot of Phoenix folks improve their attic’s air flow to cut down on energy costs. A cooler attic means your AC doesn’t have to work as hard, which saves you money. And your AC unit is less likely to break down and might even stick around longer.
Better Air Inside Your Place
The air you breathe inside your house is actually related to what’s going on with the air circulation in your attic. Stale attic air can sometimes sneak into your living space. Good air flow helps stop that from happening, so you get fresher air inside, which is important in a dusty place like Phoenix.
Good air circulation in your attic can also help keep your roof in good condition. Super hot attics can damage your shingles, which can lead to expensive repairs or even a full roof replacement. Good air flow keeps the roof cooler and helps it last longer.
Air Flow Options
There are several ways to boost air flow in your attic vent replacement in Phoenix AZ. Ridge, soffit, and gable vents are common ways to keep the air moving all the time. Some people install powered attic fans to really get rid of the hot air, but it depends on your house, how big your attic is, and how much cooling you’re trying to achieve.
Phoenix Is a Different Story
Phoenix homeowners should really pay attention to this. I mean, the heat here can make attics incredibly hot – sometimes over 120 degrees! So, good air circulation is a must-have.
The Bottom Line
Fixing up your attic’s air flow in Phoenix, AZ just makes sense for your comfort, keeping your energy bills down, and keeping your house healthy. It stops things from overheating, helps your roof last, and cuts down on those energy bills. If you’re sick of the heat, it’s well worth it to make your home a better place to live and protect one of your biggest investments.

I have worked with several contractors on projects. Scott and his crew were outstanding! His followup and communication was the best I have experienced.
I strongly recommend you give him a chance to work with you.

I contracted with NIH for roof repair and am very satisfied with their work. We needed to replace the weatherproofing under the tiles and the job was completed in 2 days. We also had an attic ventilation fan installed which seems to be working well - the air conditioner runs less and the house cools faster. That fan is very quiet and I've only heard it from outside the house. Too soon to put an energy savings number to it.

It was nice to have some knowledgeable and professional come out to my house and not try to sell me something I didn't need. We just bought a house and we were concerned with the health of our roof. Scott talked through inspection of the roof, making suggestions, and ultimately landed on not needing any work to be done at this moment. Again, I have had several companies come out to look at other areas of the house only to have them try to sell me something I didn't need. It was nice to talk with someone with integrity. Thanks again!

Nothing but good to say about New Image Homes through the whole roofing project. Always prompt communication and service. Several things outside their control led to delays, and New Image was right there as soon as possible afterwards. Crews were top notch.

Scott has been great to help with my roof.
I had two other companies I paid to come out to fix a leak and their methods didn't work.
Scott came out once and had it all figured out. Now my leak is completely gone!

New Image did a wonderful job fixing our minor repairs on our roof in Gilbert. Very personable, knowledgeable and most importantly, trustworthy. I would hire them again without a doubt.
